Digoxin, sulfonamides, phenytoin, aspirin, glycoprotein IIb/IIIa antagonists, quinine and quinidine are drugs that may be associated with thrombocytopenia. After the drug is stopped, the platelet count improves slowly during a period of 3 to 7 days.
