Dr. Nikitin told me when I wanted to quit nursing school, "there's something special about the field of medicine. Don't give up easily, you can do it." I will never forget this man or how much he impacted my life. You ever meet someone that changes your life forever with just a sentence? He did for me! Dr. Nikitin gave me confidence, the desire for education and demonstrated what real medicine involved. He answered every single dumb and ridiculous question I had, no matter how late it was or how long he had been working. I didn't know him personally but he changed my life.
