Category: Fundamentals Clozapine can produce life-threatening agranulocytosis. Most cases develop within 6 weeks to 6 months of starting the drug. Among other antipsychotics, the risk of agranulocytosis is next greatest with chlorpromazine, followed by olanzapine.
