Category: Fundamentals Variant angina (Prinzmetal’s angina) is caused by coronary artery vasospasm at rest. It may be relieved by exercise or NTG. The ECG reveals ST-segment elevation that is impossible to discern from STEMI clinically and electrocardiographically.
