Category: Pediatric Nursing Nystagmus is seen with optic nerve hypoplasia, macular hypoplasia, aniridia and albinism. Nystagmus can also occur with normal ocular structures and seemingly normal CNS development, sometimes referred to as “motor nystagmus.”
