Category: Fundamentals Aspirin inhibits platelet aggregation. Taking just two 325 MG tablets can double bleeding time for about 1 week. Platelets are unable to replace aspirin-inactivated cyclooxygenase and hence bleeding time is prolonged for the life of the platelet.
